Artist's Talk: Saken Narynov

Saken Narynov was born in 1946 in Issyk city, which is the region of Alm-Ata. He is an artist, architect, and professor at Kazakh State Architect Academy based in Almaty. He started his practice after graduation from the architectural faculty of the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute In 1970. In 1985 he finished the higher architectural courses at Moscow Architectural Institute (MARCHI), in 1987 - the postgraduate study of Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (KazGASA). His artistic research focuses on structuralist analysis and topology.
