I believe an artist is a technician of a spirit. And therefore art is the specific language capable of transmitting the spirit. I believe an artist is like a prism that intakes the white light and releases a spectrum of colors. It is the precise intensity of an experienced moment that makes the memory alive. I am a multidisciplinary artist embracing installation, film photography, performance and cinema in my work. I have always tried to create a non-time moment in regard to any particular period. A no class, no society image. Therefore most of the time I get rid of indications that refer to social or period appurtenance; like clothes, furniture, etc., it brings me down to essential: the sentiment, the experience of it, intensity of the moment. The moment is eternal in its existence, unlike the past or the future. This technique, that I call ‘Decompostruction’ – decomposition of reality and its visual representation, further construction of an alternative reality using the defragmented matter to produce imagery. Every photograph or installation is staged and directed as if they were frozen fractions of cinema. It is funny how the road calls a traveling soul. When changing places we learn on the whole duration of the road, one might take turns and U-turns to stop and embrace the beauty of a brief moment.
